Message from the Board of Directors
It is with great sadness that we share that Rick Hindin, one of the first board members to Rise and Shine passed away earlier this week. Rick was a co-founder of Britches of Georgetowne, a well-known, upscale men's store that started in the Washington DC area and eventually opened stores throughout the country. Rick started his career in advertising and entrepreneurship. He was part owner of USFL"s Washington Federals and a majority owner of the ChickenOut Rotisserie Chain. His experience in these areas was so valuable to the start-up of Rise and Shine. He loved being on the Board and his enthusiasm and generosity of spirit was contagious. He chaired the Rise and Shine Marketing Committee and generously shared his experience and wisdom. He will be greatly missed.
