SHORT TERM NEEDS
Looking for volunteer opportunities in Maryland? Our current and most urgent need is for funding to underwrite the costs associated with the training program. Funds are needed for necessary equipment, supplies, transportation, instructors and a full-time Program Director. We have received a generous matching challenge grant from the Dunleavy Family Foundation. Every donation we receive will be matched dollar for dollar. Investing in the Rise and Shine Training program will change the lives of so many individuals in our community.
Long Term Goals
Our goal is to find and purchase a building in Anne Arundel County to house the wholesale and retail bakery that will employ graduates of the program and sell our products. The bakery will also support the training program and sustain the operations of Rise and Shine.
